About the tea
Calm Peak is a 100% caffeine-free blend of whole chamomile blossoms, sun-dried Himalayan ginger, peppermint leaf and holy basil (tulsi).
Smooth, honey-sweet and comforting. Chamomile and cool mint open the cup, then give way to a deeply warming, slow-baked ginger finish.
Built for the end of the day — a pot after dinner, and a signal to put the evening down.
Production process
Whole chamomile blossoms, sun-dried Himalayan ginger, peppermint and tulsi are hand-sorted and blended at Kanchanjangha Tea Estate, then sealed for freshness.
Steeping instructions
Loose leaf: 2g of leaf to 250ml of water at 210°F, steep 5 min.
Pyramid tea bags: 1 tea bag to 250ml of water at 210°F, steep 5 min. Each pyramid tea bag can be steeped twice.
Why pyramid tea bags
Our tea bags are pyramid-shaped, so the whole leaf inside has room to open and move as it steeps — the way loose leaf does in a pot. Flat tea bags are usually filled with fine dust and fannings; ours hold the same whole leaf that goes into our tins, for a fuller, cleaner cup that holds up to a second steep.
Ingredients
Whole chamomile blossoms, sun-dried Himalayan ginger, peppermint leaf, holy basil (tulsi).
Flavour profile
